The monuments of Timurids epoch represent the picture of the period when one of the greatest medieval empire of the East was created. The priority in opening of this period is taken by Samarkand that is the capital of the empire with its magnificent monuments and ensemble Registan - Ulugbek Madrassah, mausoleums of Gur Emir, Aksarai and others. The particular place in representation of the history and culture of that epoch takes the period of Ulugbek, with his observatory, where in XV century he drew up the star map /with directions of 1008 stars/, wich was used for many years in Asian and European countries.
